Founded in 1990, with 1,000 employees, Snaitech manages a retail network active across the entire national territory, comprising over 2,000 betting points. In the entertainment machine sector, it operates around 38,000 AWP machines and over 10,000 VLT, offering high value-added services through proprietary platforms. In 2023, revenues amounted to 946.6 million euros.
Thanks to its multichannel technology offers sport and horse racing betting, virtual sports, videolottery, new slot, both online and mobile (poker, skill games, casino games, bingo), esports and pari-mutuel, through its point of sales network and online.
In mid-2018, Snaitech became part of the Playtech PLC Group, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange, operating globally in the development of software and services for the gaming sector, with over 7,700 employees and offices in 19 countries.
In April 2025, the sale of the Snaitech Group by Playtech PLC to Flutter Entertainment was completed. Flutter is a global leader in online sports betting and iGaming. Snai is now part of Flutter’s SEA region, which already includes the Sisal and PokerStars brands.
Snaitech also owns the Snai San Siro Racetrack in Milan and the Snai Sesana Racetrack in Montecatini Terme, including the surrounding areas, which feature training tracks and facilities for housing horses.
Through its subsidiary Epiqa, and on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forestry, the Group manages the production and broadcasting of races, through four TV channels and three web TVs dedicated to horse racing, covering events at the main Italian and international racetracks. In addition to the races, the programming includes shows aimed at promoting horse racing and its industry.
