Effective June 17, 2025, IGT has rebranded as Brightstar Lottery.
Brightstar employs over 6,000 people worldwide, including more than 1,000 in Italy. Globally, it provides services to approximately 90 lottery clients and their players across six continents.
Founded as Consorzio Lottomatica in 1990, the company is part of the De Agostini Group, which holds an absolute majority stake. It is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the name Brightstar Lottery, with the stock symbol BRSL.
In Italy, the Brightstar Lottery group companies hold exclusive state concessions for both instant (Gratta e Vinci) and draw-based (Lotteria Italia) national lotteries. They also manage the automated Lotto service and other fixed-odds numerical games. The group operates a nationwide network of over 58,000 lottery retail points.
